Transfer Week! January 13, 2015

Helloooo everybody!

This week flew by so I feel like I don't have much to say.

We've been working really hard, picked up some formers, dropped Carmen (that was rough and called for an ice cream reward). We've been encouraged by our zone leaders to drop our "eternigators." It's hard but this is the work of reaping and we have to focus on the elect who are truly prepared to make covenants with the Lord.

With transfers next week we have no idea what will happen. The number of missionaries in our mission has decreased a lot in the past few months and as a result 20 areas are being shut down. Now that I'll be out of training (wahoo!!) I could really end up anywhere or with anyone. So exciting and scary. But I know the Lord will put me/keep me exactly where He needs me! He is so good too us, isn't He?

Random highlights of the week:
-Had exchanges and got to drive the truck for a whole 24 hours. It was wonderful.
-I got a bag of lucky charms for $1 compliments of walmart--it's the little things :)
-Got a package from my momma in the middle of weekly planning which many of you former missionaries will know is something tear-worthy

Miracle of the Week:

On exchanges we talked to a couple of kids. They asked if we were missionaries from the iglesia Mormona and the little boy named Angel said that he had gone to our church a couple of times. We invited them to church (like we always do) and walked on. The next day at church THEY CAME! By themselves! They had their mom just drop them off because she doesn't like church. Angel is 10 and his sister Lea is 13. They loved church and they are so sweet. My heart was completely melted!!

This work is wonderful! The gospel is true! Much love from me to you!
