t's almost here! Christmas is the best!!
This last week our entire district has been going through a bit of an investigator drought but this has given us a lot of time to focus on less-actives! We have been able to find a lot of people that thought they had been forgotten about or that aren't on the records and seen lots of miracles. The work is definitely going to pick up at the new year! The ward Christmas party was so great. They all dressed up like in the times of Jesus and ate sitting on the floor on blankets. The youth put on a nativity program and were all decked out. They passed out chocolate coins that you had to use to "pay" for the tamales for dinner. It was so awesome!Carmen's baptismal date is for this Saturday! We are doing everything we can to get her married this week so it can go through! Prayers would be appreciated :) She is so sweet and wants to be baptized so bad. She can't wait to go to the temple and do the work for her mom. :)The 4 of us sisters in my ward performed a musical number in sacrament meeting on Sunday and again yesterday at zone conference. It was a lot of fun! And something out of my comfort zone! How great is this mission experience! I am continually challenged and stretched and changing, yet evermore steadfast in Christ.I feel so blessed for the beautiful life I have been given. I am so grateful for my amazing family. I am continually astounded by my Savior and His mercy and love and goodness. Without Him there would be no hope or happiness and nothing to live for. How blessed are we to be benefactors of His humility and charity. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and take time to reflect on the blessings you received from our Savior.Peace and blessings :)Hermana DeardenPics:1 Our awesome window decor2 We took Christmas card pictures last p-day.
