Hey y'all!
Super good week this week. Lots of stuff has happened, I can't believe it's only been a week!-There were two crazy hail storms! It was the size of, I don't know, like big marbles or something. My comp was over the moon about it (being the daughter of a weatherman).- Had exchanges. We had to drive through the mountain during said storm and it was coming down so hard that everyone was driving with their hazards on at 20 mph. We just pulled over to wait it out. Good times!- Jackie continues to progress. She has been reading the Book of Mormon every day. She had some questions for us and we ending up talking about Joseph Smith. We told her there was a movie about him and she was like, "Really?! When can we watch it?" So we went back that night and she loved it and cried. We also taught her the Plan of Salvation this week and she told us that she really liked it and that it made a lot more sense then what she was taught growing up. She took notes and everything! :)-Played "Don't Eat Pete" for a family night. It was a total hit. My mom's a genius.-Our zone got invited to be in a Christmas Choir with the Young Single Adults so we had our first practice on Sunday. We will be "spontaneous singing" (aka flash mob) at the mall on December 12. Oh dear....-Yesterday we went to the temple! It was so great. The lovely Sister Simpson drove us up. We left at 7 AM and got back at 10:15 so it was quite the excursion. It was so fun to see my Albuquerque Zone, Hermana March, Hermana Bleak, Hermana Butler (all past comps), and tons more friends! I love mission life. :) I felt so much peace and love and the Spirit in the temple and am refocused on my purpose to help families to get there! I know that the sealing and priesthood powers found only in the temple are necessary for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It is good! It is real!
