This week I've been pondering a lot over Moses 6:31-32. This is what it says:I am totally in love with the branch here. It is so great. These people just win my heart so easily!Another week has flown by!We've been so busy teaching this week, it has been great! I really love it. There is so much work to do here! We had a ton of great member support (3 different members with us on wed/thurs!) until Saturday hit and they all went to the quincenera of one of the young women from the branch haha! Sunday morning they were all zombies at church!Martin and Sara's parents are still here! We miss them tons. But she told her parents of their decision to be baptized and we heard that they are okay with it. Sara texted us yesterday and said that they'll see us at church this sunday! Wahoooo!!Evelyn and Jiromi are getting baptized this Saturday. We are running amok trying to get everything ready for it!We helped an Hermana paint her kitchen this week. She is a returned missionary, got married in the temple, had 3 kids, and 3 years ago her husband left her. She is so incredibly strong. She is definitely one of my favorite people from my mission. I am so amazed by her faith and her love for our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. She always makes me cry when she cries! I just love her so much and hate that I can't take the pain away. Ah. She is amazing.
31 And when Enoch had heard these words, he bowed himself to the earth, before the Lord, and spake before the Lord, saying: Why is it that I have found favor in thy sight, and am but a lad, and all the people hate me; for I am slow of speech; wherefore am I thy servant?
32 And the Lord said unto Enoch: Go forth and do as I have commanded thee, and no man shall pierce thee. Open thy mouth, and it shall be filled, and I will give thee utterance, for all flesh is in my hands, and I will do as seemeth me good.
I love these verses! Enoch thinks that he is not good enough/not capable to do what the Lord asks of him. In the eyes of the world he isn't! But in the eyes of the Lord he is completely capable-- with His help! I know this is so true and that He wants to help us and give us the strength to do His will. He wants to bless and help us in whatever stage of life/capacity/calling we have! And He will! My Dad once told me, "He is so good to work with." And that is SO true. I'm grateful for the ability to become more that I once was and more that I am. We cannot do it alone and we don't have to. :)
Much love! Que tenga una buena semana!
