Temple Day! April 28, 2015

Hey yall!

So yesterday we got to go to the temple! It was wonderful. :) We had to wake up at 3 am to get up to Albuquerque by 10 am and it was a whole day deal. It was a lot of fun! I'm so grateful that we get to go, even if it is only every 6 months. It was such a blessing to go partake of the wonderful spirit of the temple and feel my Heavenly Father's love in such a great abundance. I know that the ordinances performed and covenants made in the temple are so important and such incredible blessings. In the House of the Lord I felt so filled with peace and love. My worries were freed from my mind, and my heart filled with hope. 

Also last week the ward put on a big celebration for the relief society birthday and they went all out! It was so great. :) I loved the pioneer theme with a mexican twist. Some of the couples of the ward performed a square dance. (pic attached) I LOVED it! This ward has really become family to me. 

I got my first sunburn of the year! Ate some tuna we found on the road (the fruit that grows on cacti). Got a lil sick from some food the elders made us. Heard about some demon possesion stories from an investigator. Pretty regular week. 

Well folks that's all I've got time for! Read your scriptures. Say your prayers. Talk to strangers.
