Alright everybody,
SO transfer news is in and....they are giving me the boot! I will get to my new area tomorrow. I am feeling...well, lets just say I don't think I've ever cried so much than I have in the last two days. This has been a hard area but because of that I have put so much into it and have developed such a strong love for this place and these people. Jesus didn't end up getting baptized last week because his daughter wasn't going to be able to be there so him and the Villalpando's are going to be baptized on October 9th. I am really sad that I won't be able to be a part of their special day but I am so grateful for the opportunity I've had to know them, teach them, and love them. I just have to trust that the Lord needs me somewhere else right now and that there are people that He has prepared that are waiting for me. I have absolutely loved serving in Albuquerque and my time here went by way too fast. It is such a beautiful place and will always hold a special place in my heart!
Also this week:
-had to speak on the spot at a man I didn't know's funeral service
-got a NM license plate-- yeah, baby!
-had tons of fun singing a song w/ Hna March...video to come later!
-got caught in a flash flood leaving walmart. we got soaked ALL the way through in 30 seconds...
-went bowling with the zone. got my first strike in....well, a really long time :)
-got to watch the general women's broadcast and LOVED it! I'm just so excited to be a wife&mom... in several years! ;)
-participated in a community clean up project to get the city ready for the balloon festival...which starts in 5 days...and I won't see it...it's fine.
