Las Cucarachas Que Nadan July 28, 2015

Hola mis queridos!
Another great week here in the ABQ!
I barely have any time to write this week, sorry! I'll make it up next week! Real quick:

Evelyn and Jiromi got baptized and their Dad was able to do it! It was crazy getting everything ready for it. When we finally got the font open (without a key, haha) there were HUGE cockroaches squirming around in there! Hermano Ruiz fished them out and then started filling it. During the service they opened the curtains and there were two more buggers in the water! The poor little girls did not want to get in the water! After the baptism one of the Hermana's threw a bbq in her front yard so we all went over to that.
Taught a lot this week again! Found tons of new people as well. It's awesome! Just trying to not get stressed about it!
Ate habaƱero pepper for the first time and totally didn't die--it was actually good! Am I Mexicana now or what?!
Had interviews with the mission president--went really good! He complimented my spanish...yessss!

I've really learned a lot this week. A lot about depending on the Lord through thick and thin. I have met so many people that are good, righteous, and faithful, that get loaded with trials and burdens and that don't understand why but continue in faith and hope. That is so incredible to me. That's true discipleship. This life is full of so many trials and hardships, things that we could never imagining happening to us. But! It's that we can be brought to our knees in humility and gratitude and mighty supplication. He succors His weak! He lifts those with feeble knees! Although a lot of the time we don't understand, we can trust that He knows. He knows us. He knows what we are capable of. He knows the blessings He has in store for us and we continue in righteousness and obedience!
Love yall!
