A Brand New Year! January 6, 2015

Hello everybody!

It is a new year and I am alive and doing great! I am so excited for my new years goals and I feel like this year I have a way better chance than ever before of accomplishing them! :)

I am so grateful that I get to spend this entire year of 2015 serving the Lord. Isn't that amazing?!

So some news from this week is that the English district in our zone was shut down and so we will be taking over some English investigators! Also we got to clean out their apartments and it was like Christmas! We got a washer and a dryer (I never thought this would make me so happy)! We got tons of food and lamps (our apartment doesn't have ceiling lights haha). It was so great.

We organized our records really well this week-- and decorated them with washi tape much to my delight :) We are really trying to get to know all of our members and less actives and their needs. It has been a very busy and interesting week. There is so much hurt and sorrow out there. How great is the need for the Atonement! I love these people here so much and want to help them in anyway possible. Sometimes all I can do is cry with them because I don't fully understand what their saying. However, it is amazing how the spirit works and how it gives us exactly the words we need to say to them in that moment. This gospel is so undeniably and incredibly TRUE.

I love this work so much. There are unavoidable hardships that come along with it but it is so worth it. I love this gospel and my Savior with everything that I am. I can feel the love of God abiding with in me and it is so changing, all-encompassing, and uplifting.

Much love from El Paso
