Hellooooo everybody. :)So things are warming up weather-wise and missionary work-wise! What what!!Jessica and Alicia are AMAZING! We had committed them to start reading the Book of Mormon and then the next appointment we had Jessica had made a summary of every verse with questions and highlighted and looked up words she didn't know. It was 2 pages long! Her mom told us that she was reading and started crying and she asked her what was wrong and she said, "nothing! it just makes me feel SO good!" while hugging the Book of Mormon. Wowza. We invited them both to be baptized on April 4th and they accepted! They came to church on Sunday and loved it. They were so excited to got to the activities for relief society and young womens tonight too. Also at church we had Jose and Marta and Rafael. It was so wonderful!! My heart was so full. Jose let us carve our names into his cement so he remembers us forever (awwh!) and we showed him the Testaments movie last week. We also did some more service for him with the elders and he made us breakfast. He is the cutest. There are a few less active families we are really focusing on and helping them work towards the temple. It is hard work for sure but it really is so worth it. Visiting and home teaching are so key in this!!Random things:-We did 9 hours of service last week!-I can't wait for women's conference this weekend and general conference so soon!-The people here are so sweet. They have been giving us tons of stuff lately and we just are so blessed!!-Tarantula season is starting(yeah that is a real thing) ....I learned that when you kill one you have to burn it because other tarantulas smell it and come to help. It's times like these I wish we could just pack heat!!!-As of today we have had 102 baptisms so far in 2015 in the New Mexico Albuquerque Mission! We are working hard towards our goal of 850 for this year. The work is hastening, folks!-Shout out to the Capshaw Ward Young Women for sending me the cutest package and making me feel so loved!-Eating mole 3 times in 4 days... #thestruggleisrealMoral of the story is I love this gospel. It's perfect. It's true. It's wonderful. How lucky am I to be a representative of our Savior Jesus Christ in this time and to bring the gospel to the people here in El Paso.Forever true,Hermana Dearden
